Welcome! We're excited you’re here. This page is for you and your neighbours.

As part of our studio project, we selected four areas in Crossroads where we could dream big about the future. We are calling these areas Hearts.

We need your help designing one Heart. There are opportunities for you to participate and provide your input using the tabs below. Let's get started!

Check out the image to see the location of all four Hearts. For this engagement exercise, we are only asking for input on one Heart.

We located four Hearts in Crossroads using a design process that we crafted as a team. The process was inspired by an academic article and what we heard from you at the design workshop.

The image shows the location of the Heart. We chose this heart for two reasons.

    1. We heard that you wanted us to re-think possibilities for the abandoned railroads tracks. We used their footprint to centre the heart frame.

    2. We heard the Firestone site is important. To encourage future development on the Firestone site, we first want to see the surrounding neighbourhood come to life. We placed the Heart frame beside the Firestone site in order to begin this community revitalization.

Help us learn more about this area. Start by sharing some of your stories with us here.
