Old Dubai

There is part of Dubai that is tucked away from the glamour and sparkle that you tend to focus on in this city. ‘Deira’ side of the city, where old dhows park along the waterway,is a place where you step back in time. Dozens of old dhows are either coming or going with merchandise to sell or trade from places like India and Iran. This old lifestyle has been part of the Middle Eastern culture for decades. It is so interesting to watch as it’s so different from our modern lives.
