Milan market

The historic food market in the heart of Milan is a glorious blend of history and cuisine. The wonderful old building is the context, the individual food stalls are nondescript, It is the food that is the hero. A central gathering place for locals and tourists alike, a dynamic mix of culture, food, people, music and architecture - a sensory extravaganza. One is my favorite places.
